The Meaning Behind the Design
Eagle In Exile is an original artwork by Doug TenNapel, the creator of Earthworm Jim and man of faith. He is a Youtuber with his show Doug In Exile that is a reference to the book of Daniel where the Hebrews were kept in Exile, but never lost their faith. Being in exile is about us being “in the world not of it” (John 15:18-20) for this is not our final home.
The American eagle with a cross emblazoned over its heart is a symbol of soaring freedom designed to inspire and encourage patriotic people of faith.
